Privacy Policy

Quiet Web runs locally in your browser. It does not collect, sell, rent, share, upload, or transmit search queries, browsing history, page content, cookies, account identifiers, IP addresses, device identifiers, or analytics events.

The extension stores only local settings in Chrome extension storage, such as whether Quiet Web is enabled, supported Google site preferences, Google cleanup settings, lens settings, allowlisted modules, and preferred or blocked domains.

If you choose Report miss, Quiet Web saves a local note with the site's host, page path, time, and whether a query string existed. It does not save your search text and does not send the report anywhere automatically.

If you activate paid Lenses, Quiet Web sends only the checkout email address and optional license code you enter to the Quiet Web license endpoint. It does not send search queries, URLs, page content, hidden modules, browsing history, diagnostics, or local miss reports with that request.

Payments are handled outside the extension by Stripe. Quiet Web does not receive or store card numbers.

Quiet Web does not use AI to classify pages, people, images, or searches. It uses local rules, visible labels, and user settings.
